Subject: SOCKRAW&others with MS/TCP-Daytona ?
Is this correct ?
------------------------
-MS/TCPIP doesn4t have sockets raw like Trumpet Winsock
(If it is, how can I do a PING without it ?)
Just another one.
I was testing the WLPRSPOOLER with the Trumpet and everything was running
after changing to the MS/TCPIP (Daytona) the spooling takes place, but it
never ends in a normal fashion.
Do you know of any problem related with this, maybe
with the close and shutdown sequences ?

Subject: Looking for WINSOCK Mail reader that uses SLIP/SMTP
I am looking for a WINDOWS/WINSOCK/SLIP mail reader that uses SMTP
both ways (sending and receiving).
Also, what are the pros and cons of SMTP vs POP?
Thanks
Mike Jaffe

Does anyone know the e-mail addresses of contact persons of
Spry Inc. I'd like to try out their Internet-in-a-box
package.
Their e-mail address is spry.com--try info@spry.com to write to them.
Internet in a Box has not yet been released, so you won't be able to
get any impressions from users yet. Last time I talked to them they
were saying "June," but that may change (again).

At the risk of sounding uninformed, doesn't this appear to be typical of
a RESOURCE LEEK within the Windows environment. It's remenicient (sp) of
a problem with an early version of Mosaic. Which TCP/IP stack are you using?
Garry.
